Growing up on the Gold Coast, Robyn’s paddling journey led her to Hawaii, where she raced outrigger canoes and won two Na Wahine O Kei Kai Molokai World Championships. She has coached the Hawaii Canoe Kayak Team, Outrigger Hawaii, and Surfers Paradise Outrigger Club. Now based in Noosa, Australia, Robyn teaches yoga, coaches surfski paddling, and leads the WoW (Women on Water) paddling groups on the stunning Noosa River.

5.45am-6.45am in summer and times change to suit the season. From March 6am-7am

8.15am -9.15am reserved for those we call our ‘rising stars’/ beginner group , which is first stop after your initial lessons!

there is also an intro to squad rising stars session every Wednesday 8.15am-9.15amThere is a WhatsApp group for communication and updates and “ten session” passes available for regular paddlers .

More than paddling…

I’ve been paddling with Robyn since 2024 and also practising yoga with her, and there’s something truly special about what she offers. The way she holds space — on the water and on the mat — feels grounded and genuine. It’s not just about the movement; it’s the feeling you leave with that stays with you.

She builds strength and confidence in such a natural, supportive way, while creating a real sense of calm and focus. I always leave feeling clearer, more grounded, and genuinely stronger — physically and mentally.

I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made on the water, and I truly value the connection and encouragement she fosters among the wonderful group of women she brings together.

If you’re thinking about trying something new in a supportive and welcoming space, I can’t recommend her enough. All ages, all abilities — just come as you are.

Training with Robyn has been such a rewarding journey for me. I started in the beginner group (Rising Stars), focusing mainly on building solid technique and foundational skills.
